JackFavell
I've said this elsewhere, but I really admire Quinn. His meteoric rise to fame (it took 20 or 30 years) is really fascinating to me. The fact that he stayed in movies, taking bit parts and small character roles, is amazing. He was not Indian, nor Italian, nor Greek, but made a living playing these ethnic "types" while he waited for Hollywood to grow up and recognize him as a major actor. I don't know if I could have stood it for as long as he did! Then, little by little, he started to get roles that showed how deep and strong his talent was. I love that his stardom came after he turned 40! He was a fascinating and larger than life character, and, most of all, an artist.
