Thousands gather for march in Washington DC to fight racial inequality

...........This event coincides with the 57th anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington, where Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech.

Alexandria resident Susan Buchanan says the country still needs change.

“There’s a lot of things going on right now. A lot of people are dying because of police brutality and I’m here to support them,” Buchanan said.......

Demonstrators said despite the progress made, they expect more marches to be needed in the years to come until change is fully realized.

This year’s march was filled with signs and chants, but also gloves and masks. Attendees say despite the pandemic, they needed their voices to be heard........

Racial Justice Protesters, Armed Militia Groups Demonstrate Outside Kentucky Derby-

Thousands of demonstrators were expected to stage a peaceful march to demand justice for Breonna Taylor

"........Thousands of protesters are marching around the gates surrounding Churchill Downs, chanting Breonna Taylor’s name less than an hour before the 146th Kentucky Derby.

Protests have occurred for 101 days in Louisville, with calls for police to be charged in Taylor’s shooting death during a narcotics raid on March 13. No drugs were found. A recent demonstration near the historic track resulted in 64 arrests, and more protests were expected around the venue.

The protesters marched 2 miles from a city park and circled the track on the front and back sides. They chanted “No Justice, No Derby!” and carried signs imploring people to say Taylor’s name........

........."It has been six months, and there has been no arrests," Tiffanie Morris, an attendee of the rally, told NBC News. "It's time for us to take to the streets and peacefully protest, just like we have been doing all summer. This has been the freedom summer 2020."

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron has been investigating Taylor's death for months.

Cameron said on Twitter Saturday that his office remains "cognizant of the community’s desire for answers in the investigation into the death of Ms. Breonna Taylor."

Racial injustice themes on display in empty NFL stadiums

NFL teams opening their seasons in empty stadiums knelt, locked arms, raised fists in protest or stayed off the field entirely for the “Star-Spangled Banner” as the once-reluctant league brought racial injustice to the forefront.

One shouldn’t be fooled by such words such as democracy, free speech, civility...they are far beyond the imaginations of human decency.

Fallacies of the herded fools.

“Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add ‘within the limits of the law’ because law is often but the tyrant’s will, and always so when it violates the rights of the Individual.”

If you are going to quote somebody, how about citing the person.

Note especially: 47% of Fox News viewers think it "makes our country better" when "Americans" protest unfairness. Only 10% of Fox News viewers think "it makes our country better" when "Black Americans" protest
