I'm sorry, but I'm gonna hafta rely on one of you nice people to provide pics, because for some strange reason, no matter how SMALL the image I try to post IS, I STILL get a message that it's too big! TomJH Posted February 3 Not only does Eugene Levy not look like John Brown but he doesn't look much like the other John Brown either.

I actually think once Lawrence supplied the pics for Sepia, that there IS more than a passing resemblance between John Brown the actor (and not the abolitionist, or for that matter anyone with such a name who has ever had any little Indians) and your fellow countryman, the old SCTV comedian. Dargo Posted February 7 19 minutes ago, Stephan55 said: 50+ CELEBRITIES WHO LOOK EXACTLY LIKE PEOPLE FROM HISTORY I'd say many of these were spot-on here Stephan, however a few were quite a stretch. One of them I found to be a stretch in particular was the one comparing Bruce Willis with Douglas MacArthur. Now, ever since I was a kid watching What's My Line on that old Zenith TV set, I've always thought the host of that program, John Charles Daly, looked a heck of a lot like MacArthur. Daly... MacArthur... (...DAMN, I'm good, ain't I?!)

I noticed that some of the images appeared to be deliberately "stretched" vertically, to a achieve a visage of similarity. Though by enlarge, most were pretty close. However you indubitably nailed the Daly / MacArthur twins to a "T" 14 minutes ago, Dargo said: (...DAMN, I'm good, ain't I?!) MovieCollectorOH Posted March 31 Not a look-alike but a sound-alike. Don't think too hard about this one, which is why I put it in this thread. This is sort of an avant-garde take on a keyboard, which is running into a virtual synth (running on a Mac or PC), set to a most odd preset. For those who don't watch embedded videos, too bad... 1

(...yeah, I suppose I can see a bit of a resemblance here alright ham, but the Neanderthal is also reminding me a bit of some other actor too, but I'm not sure who that would be right offhand...I'm thinkin' it's some actor slightly more recent than Boone, and who has acted in some kind'a action/adventure films circa the '70s, '80s and/or '90s...gosh, I wish I could think of the name here)

Sepiatone Posted April 5 I don't see THAT, but I do agree with Dargo up there. The Neanderthal does remind me too, of someone whose name I can't conjure. But too, the guy at the MUFFLER SHOP who just worked on my car this past Wednesday. Sepiatone

Sepiatone Ah, think of Marv too in Sin City, I just watched The Wrestler yesterday, which is why I just grabbed not the best image for a comparison off the net, but there were shots in it where he resembled the Neanderthal, I'm not talking about Richard Boone, lol
Dargo Posted April 5 Gentlemen, I think I now know who the actor is I was trying to think of earlier who I said Neanderthal also reminded me of. Whaddaya think...Fred Ward here perhaps?

MovieCollectorOH Posted April 30 Kevin Cronin, the singer of the band REO Speedwagon, and Tim Cook of Apple. Cronin was originally an unsigned folk singer who joined a local rock group. Their guitarist had a love for hard rock guitar riffs. The two combined produced a new sound and brought the first "power ballad" hit, Keep On Loving You. Tim Cook is, well, Tim Cook. Actually the more I think about it, any kind of comparison is just wrong on so many levels that I don't even know where to begin. Still posting this though. SummerStars Posted May 2 I always thought that Virginia Mayo and Rhonda Fleming looked kind of similar (except for the varying eye colors) as if they could be sisters. One thing they both have in common is that they starred in a lot of Westerns, mostly during the 1950s. Someone once said to me when watching Norma Shearer in a movie that they found her to look like Ruth Buzzi. I guess I can kind of see a slight resemblance.
SummerStars Posted May 4 After seeing two movies last night with these actresses, I think that Irene Dunne and Greer Garson look as though they could have always been up for playing the same roles in films. They always seem to play mothers or at least purely wholesome characters. Eddie Cantor and Rowan Atkinson (as Mr. Bean) look very similar --- it’s the eyes.
