TikiSoo
In another thread I posted a photo of Gina Lollobrigida: Which reminded me of my favorite Vamp Yvonne DeCarlo: A different photo of Gina L: ...reminded me of smoldering hot Linda Darnell: ...who in that pic reminds me of sultry gorgeous Dorothy Lamour: Hollywood definitely liked a certain "type" (me too)

Dargo
And now for a couple of real sultry beauties here. British actress Tracy Reed, perhaps most notable for playing Gen. Buck Turgidson's (George C. Scott), ahem, secretary Miss Scott in Dr. Strangelove: And, American cult movie actress Mary Woronov:

chaya bat woof woof
The two Ryans: Gossling (sp?) and Reynolds. Not in looks, but when Christian Slater was first in Heathers, he was compared to Jack Nicholson. Also, Harvey Korman did a good impression of Ronald Coleman (whom one of my local papers continually called Arnold).

Hope ya don't mind nakano, but I think this shot of Reid might better illustrate your (and Scott's father's) point here... (...and 'cause to be honest with ya, and while the one I just posted here admittedly isn't that much of a difference from yours, the shot you used of Reid had me almost thinking more Gary Cooper than Randy here...but yeah, the more pix of Reid I looked out while goggle image searching him, the more Reid did begin to remind me of Scott, also)

chaya bat woof woof
Don't see the resemblance. I always thought that Gilbert Roland resembled John Gilbert. Now, not so much. Too many actors and actresses today look like each other. The two Ryans look alike. I think Johnny Depp in his younger days resembles Charles Dickens in his younger days. As for DNA, John and Lionel Barrymore each have a distinctive look (as does their sister, Eleanor) Benji and Asta had a lot of dogs that looked like them (and some really were them)
