Guest
Her initials are B.S. and it's not Barbara Stanwyck and DEFINITELY not Barbara Streisand. I was so stupid for ever thinking she was anything great, but I haven't for over four years...

dottanyia43
i had a crush on Ray Watson and Bill Bixby when i was in the 4th grade. i used to watch "My Favorite Martian" religously. but i saw some of the movies that Ray Watson was in like "DAMM YANKEES" And "PAINT YOUR WAGON" and "SOUTH PACIFIC" he was a wonderful actor. now, i have secret crushes on Carey Grant and Shawn Connery. ooh to meet a guy that looks like them. i'll die, i tell ya! i'll just die! lol ;-)
ladymirabelle45
Now I'm really going to date myself. Rock Hudson, and Tab Hunter. As a young girl I thought they were the perfect men. BOY! Was I wrong.
brackenhe
I remember loving Sal Mineo (I'm 50 yo so I was a little girl when he had his biggest fame), so don't feel bad about Tab & Rock OK. Our gaydar wasn't working so well back then.
ladymirabelle45
I was so upset when I found out about Rock. I mean just look at him. Big, dark, deep voice, and so handsome. Who knew!
arslongavitabrev
i see i'm in good company--my crush was on Richard Chamberlain, from Dr. Kildare in grade school through Thornbirds and Shogun -- tho' by then the gaydar was raising serious questions. i saw him interviewed last year after he and his autobiography both came out; his story was quite affecting. i think i was most demoralized to learn about Cary Grant. (please, don't ruin my current thing for Robert Mitchum...)

lissiedel
This is my first post here. I wasn't going to say anything but I feel I have to confess a crush. It is Fred Astaire. He is not a handsome man but I have always thought there is just something about him.
bggalaxy
Fred Astaire!!?? For that confession you need to pay some hefty penance. Just kidding (lol) my wife says there is this charm about him that over ride the looks. Hey welcome to the board and chime in more often.
kaneboop
I had a crush on Fred when I was 13 because of how charming he is.
harlowkeatongirl
Well the first celebrity crushes I can remember from childhood are Davy Jones and David Bowie. Davy was because "The Monkees" began airing re-runs every afternoon on basic cable and Bowie, because I saw the movie Labyrinth. *sizzle* I have no shame about it, though, I still think they're hotties. LOL Right now though, I admittedly have a crush on someone who is 85 years older than me. His name is Joseph Frank Keaton. But.. freakiness loves company... and another member of this board freely admitted to me her crush on a star of about the same age difference. (Don't know if I'm supposed to mention who or not, so I won't. ) So in that case, I don't feel too weird about my crush. LOL!
