MissGoddess
Hello, there, STRANGER...I vaguely remember who you are....aren't you the one who loves Grace Kelly? I haven't seen *Melody Jones* in a long time, I must have missed it this morning. I do have it on dvd-r, though. I love the way Kim looks in BB&C; I would wear her clothes today. I hate to say, I like her clothes before her transformation BETTER, ha! Best of all, I like "Pyewacket".

butterscotchgreer
Hello, there, STRANGER...I vaguely remember who you are....aren't you the one who loves Grace Kelly? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! who said i liked Grace Kelly? it was frankie wasnt it? what do you mean. you dont remember who i am dahlink?! im the.......oh goodness, i dont know how to describe myself. thats really pathetic! well anyway, you know who i am silly! I haven't seen Melody Jones in a long time, I must have missed it this morning. I do have it on dvd-r, though. you should watch it again and watch Melody whipe his arm and then put his arms around Cherry and kiss passionately......SIGH! heehee! I love the way Kim looks in BB&C; I would wear her clothes today. I hate to say, I like her clothes before her transformation BETTER, ha! she was quite gorgeous in that movie. i just love her eyes! i loved the style of her dark clothing, but i must say that i like the pastel colors on her better. it makes her seem more cheerful. i loved that green evening dress Jimmy's fiance had on at Zodiac and it was so funny when Kim had them play Stormy Weather, when she hated thunder storms. i cracked up! Best of all, I like "Pyewacket". i dont know why, but i keep picturing the spelling at the cat's name as "Piewaquet" for some reason. heehee! such a cutie of a kitty! CineMaven
"As for Melanie's madness, I think back to that scene where she gives up her wedding ring for the "cause". There is a look of fervent religion or something on her face at that moment. A kind of lunatic need to be GOOD. That depth of vehement passion is what I'm talking about. Scarlett is EXACTLY the same, but her needs are different." Aaaah, I see wha'cha mean Jackaay. Guess they all were the Personification of something or other. I remember Scarlett's counterpoint to Melly's sacrifice in that scene. And Rhett Butler's kind letter to Melly about her sacrifice. And his P.S. to Scarlett in that letter. He read her totally. And you really put it well when you mention: "Melly matches Scarlett, strength for strength." I never thought of it like that. And you have changed my mind. CineMaven
"Anyone who keeps a promise they are happy about does not deserve even 1 percent of the credit as one who keeps a promise they LOATHED giving." - MissGoddess. That surely is the road less taken, isn't it. You've given me wonderful food for thought with that comment. Thank you.
rohanaka
Wow.... TERRIFIC chat on GWTW folks... I have been so "out of it" lately I haven't checked in here in a while and now that I have... I am simply bowled over!! Nice job everybody. (PS... Did I mention WOW?) :-)

Hi Miss Butterscotch! What is each color for? How about this: *Green* gloves because we are environmentally conscious; *Blue* gloves because he is a boy; Pink gloves because we are girls, and *Yellow* gloves because FrankGrimes is very, very afraid of us. movieman1957
The green gloves match the environmentally recycled curtains made into that dress.
MissGoddess
See! Recycling isn't anything new! And it was having no gloves that gave it away with Rhett.
rohanaka
Have YOU watched any good movies lately Well... I DID get to watch a couple of the Fan Movies last week... but MOST of them (sadly) I had to record and have NOT gotten to watch them yet... including "Went With the Breeze" (ha) THAT is what we jokingly call GWTW around here by the way. I know... how blasphemous.. ha. But it is very funny to hear the kidling say it... she puts a very cute emphasis on "WENT" with a big pause after it and then when she says "With the Breeze" it comes out sort of "musical sounding" like "BREEEEEEZE"... too cute...ha) I haven't seen GWTW in a while now... so I have been wanting to watch it since I saw you on w/ our beloved Mr. O last week. But I only had time to watch your intro and outro instead.(sigh) I REALLY wanted to see Ms Maven's choice too as I have NEVER seen that one before, and I also have a couple from the library I need to get to.... UGH.. I am such a slacker.
MissGoddess
Not a slacker, just a busy Mom. I have only watched a few Will Rogers movies lately and not much else. I still need to finish the last half of Ruggles of Red Gap before I forget what happened in the first half!
rohanaka
Glad to hear I am not alone...ha. So many movies... so little time. :-)
MissGoddess
I'm going to finish up my last *Will Rogers* title, maybe tonight if nothing interesting is on TCM, and then I want to dust off some of my *Robert Montgomery* pre-codes. However, these, like most of my plans, have a way of flying out the window on a moment's notice!
rohanaka
Robert Montgomery Whoa Baby... :-) (After Night Must Fall and They Were Expendable... (and one other movie I saw him in recently but can't remember at the moment) I have a whole new appreciation of him. (even his acting!! Ha) :-)
CineMaven
Hey, I think Robert Montgomery is the kind of guy that sneaks up on ya. He snuck up on me and now...I'm looking for him. I watched a documentary yesterday about the great Frances Marion (early screenwriter and director of the movies...and a woman). They showed that she wrote "The Big House" with that great big ham, Wallace Beery. 1930, they showed a scene with Robert Montgomery, who was featured in this film. Gosh he was soooooooo cute. And Marion wrote a hell of a picture; even though she was a "woman." Check out his daughter tonite in "Who's Been Sleeping In My Bed." Believe it or not...I saw that in the movies as a little little girl.
