flashback42
Thanks, Movieman. Next up: There's Krusty the Clown on The Simpsons; there's *Shakes the Clown* as title character in another film. Then there's another film with a clown who stays in his makeup all the time. What movie is that?

flashback42
Thanks, lavender. (78,187) Colonial India in the 19th Century. A rebellion among the locals against the British Empire. At a pivotal point of the stress: A newly-arrived Sandhurst-educated officer, son of an English father and a native Indian mother. Both parents had been disowned by their families, and the new arrival is not fully trusted by either side.

flashback42
At some 45 Views, correct, Miles. I was afraid I would have to go into the subplot about the reason the native troops refused to load and fire the title weapons -- forcing a showdown battle with mass swordplay. Miles' thread. flashback42
*The Beau Hunks* (1931) with Stan & Ollie ??
MilesArcher
No, not "Beau Hunks". "Beau Hunks" has the boys in the French foreign legion. A song about Honolulu would not have fit. However, Marvin Hatley, who composed "Honolulu Baby", actually did appear in "Beau Hunks" in a bit part. The song was featured in what is arguably Laurel and Hardy's most popular feature film.
