Yes, *After Hours* . Love this film. Scorcese directed this dark comedy, starring Griffin Dunne, Rosanna Arquette, Catherine O'Hara, Teri Garr and John Heard. Wish it was shown more often. Very, very, funny film.

Excellent Lance, and Welcome to the boards. :) It's your turn to post a question.

there is an entire flashback in the movie about a Jack Ruby like character in Cleveland who has a debt to the mob

the end of the movie is the father character commiting suicide by jumping out of his high rise condo and while doing so, ripping the biggest american flag in half that is draped on the side of the building yelling something like "it was all for you boy... take all of our money and invest in South America"

Winter Kills is the movie with Jeff Bridges and John Huston. One of the greatest unknown movies out there... it is a stunner. Based on a Richard Condon book, the mastermind behind Prizzis Honor and Manchurian Candidate. It is a movie similar to Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid in that it has memorable bits by great actors including Richard Boone, Toshiro Mifune, Anthony Perkins, Ralph Meeker, Sterling Hayden. Meanwhile, this is Huston's other great performance alongside Noah Cross in Chinatown. Catch it and TCM should play it.

Next : Boy doesn't trust his piano teacher
