DESIGN FOR LIVING is a good film. A love triangle between Fredrick March, Marian Hopkins and Gary Cooper. Tasteful direction by Ernest Lubitsch. I remember liking PETER IBBETSON, but it has been quite a while since I've seen it. I will have to get out my dvd copy and watch it again.

I seem to recall Gary Cooper being quite good in this one.

DESIGN FOR LIVING...very modern! Watched this and was surprised by the topic. You wouldn't think menage a tois would be an appropriate 1933 topic. Loved every minute of it, and thought Miriam Hopkins was wonderful.

Still gotta see PETER IBBETSON.

I think *Peter Ibbetson* is a beautiful, haunting film about the power of love that is imaginatively directed by Henry Hathaway, and contains very touching performances by Cooper, Ann Harding and the two children. I read the book it's based on (there was also a play) and I think this production captured it perfectly. I hope you enjoy it!
