FrankGrimes
Hardy har har. May I suggest a visit to Endora, Derwood? No, you may not! I'm also interested in The Seven Year Itch.
MissGoddess
> > I'm also interested in The Seven Year Itch. You would be. It's more of a "guy's" movie. I love how MM looks in it, though.
FrankGrimes
You would be. It's more of a "guy's" movie. That would be refreshing change from watching all these women pictures by Ford. I love how MM looks in it, though. Oooooooooooh, I do, too!

FrankGrimes
I like how the word "clean" is above Marilyn while she is corrupting a young boy. Such bad behavior. It's no wonder you like her.

Such bad behavior. It's no wonder you like her. Clearly she is telling the naughty boy to leave the room where a lady is dressing! You just don't see straight.
HollywoodGolightly
*HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MARILYN!!!!* CK, thanks for remembering Marilyn's birthday, we may not have a tribute on the TCM schedule due to the "Great Directors" month, but she's still in our hearts!! :x
Maliejandra
Happy birthday! Has anyone seen the PBS documentary about Marilyn as a photographer's model? It was a fairly short show, but it was really very good and had interviews with a couple of people that photographed her. I think they were right on when they said she was made for the camera. It is just amazing how well she photographed, and if you look at the strips of film and the photos she X-ed out, well, she was brilliant even when she was at her worst! It is no wonder people want to adorn their homes and themselves with her image.
HollywoodGolightly
Hi Maliejandra, No, I haven't seen that PBS documentary, but I would really like to watch it. It sounds very interesting.
Maliejandra
I think it is called Still Life. They play a lot of odd remixes of her songs in it.
HollywoodGolightly
It doesn't look like it's available on video, but I'll keep looking.
Maliejandra
I don't know how new this is, but several new photos have been released by Life Magazine. Apparently, they were cleaning out their archives to put them on the internet and they found some unpublished photos of Marilyn. Enjoy! http://www.life.com/image/88010853/in-ga....ublished-photos
HollywoodGolightly
I think I'd heard about those, maliejandra, thanks for sharing!

marlene0726
Hi- Could Marilyn fans give me the title of a biography that they would recommend? There are so many listed on Amazon that I dont know which one or few to choose. One that has truth rather than rumors. I only have a photo book Platinum Fox . Thanks in advance!
