DownGoesFrazier
What is unusual about the 3 films YOUNG MAN WITH A HORN, THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT, and FUNNY LADY? (That is, what do they have in common?) Edited by: finance on May 16, 2012 9:45 AM
lavenderblue19
It can't be that you're looking for 3 Jewish leading men??? George Segal in The Owl and the Pussycat James Caan in Funny lady Kirk Douglas in Young Man with A Horn
DownGoesFrazier
No, but you're on the right track.
lavenderblue19
In the 3 films there are tumultuous romantic relationships between the leads ?
DownGoesFrazier
You're veering off course. Go back to your first guess and go from there. It's a significant narrowing of the number of films from the ones that would be covered by your first guess.
lavenderblue19
Off hand all I can think of are my 2 guesses and that Kirk's leading lady in Young Man With A Horn was Lauren Becall, who is also Jewish. So in the 3 films, 2 starred Streisand , all the leads, Kirk, Lauren, Barbra, Caan and Segal are all Jewish. That's my best shot. Someone else can think of another answer. DownGoesFrazier
Your best shot was the right shot. These are 3 films in which both the male and female leads were Jewish. How many others were there? Not many, I'm sure............Your thread.
