lavenderblue19
No. It's the film that's the question. June and her co-star get pie-eyed together

lavenderblue19
NO to Jimmy, No to Gloria. It's a male co-star. June and this guy made many films together, 5 or 6.
DownGoesFrazier
I hereby disgracefully retire from this question. It figures that I would blow a June Allyson question. Edited by: finance on Jun 7, 2012 11:05 AM
MilesArcher
Just a guess, could it be "The Bride Goes Wild" with Van Johnson?
lavenderblue19
Excellent guess Miles. Next time *The Bride Goes Wild* is on, I wish you guys would watch it. It's a cute MGM comedy with June and Van and Hume Cronin and Arlene Dahl and that adorable Butch kid. Good guess Miles, you're up.
MilesArcher
Thanks. June Allyson was in several movies with another leading man. In one of them, she gives him a French lesson. Can you name the movie and the other actor?
mudskipper
From "Good News"(1947).... Since [Peter Lawford|http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0492444/] spoke French fluently and [June Allyson|http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000742/] did not, Lawford had to teach Allyson how to teach him to speak French in the French Lesson scene. MilesArcher
I couldn't have said it any better myself. Peter Lawford had spent a good deal of his youth in France and was quite fluent in the language. Again, a good job, skipper. You get to go next.
