lavenderblue19
Correct. Frank thought Melcher was using Doris and couldn't stand him. He had Melcher thrown off the film set of *Young At Heart* and had him banned from the set for the rest of the filming. Your thread Miss Lana. allaboutlana
Thanks This child actor was in a 1947 film with a future Best Actress winner. Then he starred in another film with her in 1948 as her brother and as a suitor to another actress (who can sing.) Then he starred in a film in 1950 with the second actress (the singer, not the Oscar winner.) Name all three people and all three movies.

Edythevanhopper
This up and coming dancer had an uncredited chorus girl part in a top grossing film of the '30s plus a couple of dance numbers in other films. She later became more famous than had she stayed in film and dance. The man she married achieved the highest position in the country. His position fell after an event that we look back on as happening on June 17th 40 years ago.. Can you name our dancer and the film she appeared in? lavenderblue19
I'm working under the assumotion that you are writing about Pres. Reagan and The Watergate scandal, so I guess you must be asking about Jane Wyman, who did start out as a dancer, singer chorus girl. Not sure of the film, maybe Golddiggers 1933 or '37?? MilesArcher
I think you're referring to Pat Nixon. She did extra work in a few movies. She was in "The Great Ziegfeld" in 1936, and also "Becky Sharp" in 1935. June 1972 would be the time of the Watergate break-in.
Edythevanhopper
Right. Pat Nixon was a chorus girl in the Great Ziegfield. I came across it looking for something else and since yesterday marked the 40th anniversary, I gave her a little air time. Thanks for the good guess.Your thread. MilesArcher
Thanks. Abbott and Costello made many movies together in which they played partners or friends who got mixed up hiarious situations together. However, they were in two movies together where they were not partners. Lou was the star and Bud was a supporting actor. Can you name those two films?
