allaboutlana
Thnaks. Born into a Mormon family in Utah, this actress would have one of her most complex roles as that of a kleptomaniac with mental problems in this 1940s melodrama. Name the film and the actress. rosehips2012
Thanks I wish this one was shown more often. This film based on a Broadway hit was suppose to star 2 other leading leadies. Besides the obvious choice of one of the actresses who played the role on Broadway, I'm referring to 2 others. One was a legendary actress, singer, the other also known for her musical performances. The story is based on the life of a real person. Film and the 2 legendary actresses that were suppose to star in this film??? (1 is MUCH more of a Legend than the other)

mudskipper
The stage team had hoped that Warner would cast [Judy Garland|http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000023/] as Mama Rose and [Ann-Margret|http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000268/] as Gypsy. The two stars had heavy scheduling conflicts, so the production team passed on both. DownGoesFrazier
These two male stars worked together twice. The two films were the two most successful films that either of them ever had. Despite various plans, the two of them never worked together again. Stars? Films?

DownGoesFrazier
Two actors both appeared in a film. It was the second film for each of them. One of them was the star of this film, and it was a starmaking performance. The other played a very, very small role and it did little for his career. Both of them eventually became superstars. Film? The two actors?
