DownGoesFrazier
Did you grow up listening to Murray the K? or was it Cousin Brucie?
lavenderblue19
Both, silly boy! LOL I graduated to Jonathan Schwartz when FM was finally in styte ! The extra credit was EITHER Murray the K OR Cousin Brucie. It's up to you to figure out the answer. Ok you're working on exra credit, now go for the main course, the film. It's an early 50's movie Edited by: lavenderblue19 on Aug 8, 2012 4:20 PM

DownGoesFrazier
I was thinking of MOGAMBO, but two of the stars were Oscar winners.
lavenderblue19
Yes, of course *Mogambo*. Just typed too quickly. Gable and Kelly, the 2 Oscar winners and John Ford. For the extra credit, which DJ and can you can tell us the chant??
DownGoesFrazier
I think Murray was more of a chanter than Brucie. I don't know the chant.
lavenderblue19
It's Mur-ray, Mur-ray the K with the Swingnin' Swaray. Ah bey, Ah bey, Koowi Zowa Zowa! lavenderblue19
This actress did almost all of her own stunts in this 1994 film. She has 70 film and tv credits and said this is probably her most memorable film since during one of her dangerous scenes she almost died. Film, actress ?? MilesArcher
Could it be Meryl Streep in "The River Wild"?
lavenderblue19
Meryl Streep is the one Miles. I was surprised when she said of all the films she's done, this was the most memorable of course until I heard why. I like this film so much. I've probably seen it 3 or 4 times. Great cast, terrific performances and a very exciting film. Good work Mr. Miles, you're up.
MilesArcher
Thanks. At first I was thinking of Jamie Lee Curtis in "True Lies", also a 1994 film, but when the next clue said multiple Oscar winner, I thought about Meryl Streep. Now, there is an actress who is the daughter of an actor and also the granddaughter of an actor. She made her movie debut as a young child. I know what you're thinking, but it's not Drew Barrymore. This actress was named for the daughter of her grandfather's first wife. After a bit part in a movie as a teen, she didn't get a substantial role until she was well into her twenties, despite her family connections. It was then that her career took off. Can you name this third generation movie actress?
Edythevanhopper
My first thought is Oona Chaplin?? Edited by: Edythevanhopper on Aug 17, 2012 3:07 PM
MilesArcher
Sorry, Oona Chaplin's father is not an actor. The one I'm looking for is a well known American actress.
lavenderblue19
How about Angelica Huston?
MilesArcher
Sorry, not Anjelica. The actress in question was only five years old when she made her movie debut in one of her father's films. The girl that she was named for had committed suicide at age 21. That girl's brother helped produce this actress's first movie, as well as several more that starred the father of the actress in question. This brother later committed suicide by shooting himself. The actress in question is in her forties and is quite active today. . Edited by: MilesArcher on Aug 18, 2012 3:58 PM
