Many may know this fact from our favorite website & network TURNER CLASSIC MOVIES (EST: 1994-) In 2009 I reckon' it's editors-(because this wasn't a normal fans poll/survey?) were the only one's that selected these

On "THE TOP 15 MOST INFLUENTIAL FILMS" Obviously in honor of TCM's then 15th Anniversary & I listed them again below for those interested & as a reminder that we the fans are far, far overdue for a poll/survey of our all-timers?

(chronically listed)>

THE BIRTH OF A NATION (l9l5), BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN (l925-Ruissia), METROPOLIS (l927-German)  42nd STREET (1933), *IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT (1934) (BP *ACADEMY AWARD  WINNER), SNOW WHITE AND THE 7 DWARFS (l938),  *GONE WITH THE WIND (l939), STAGECOACH (l939), CITIZEN KANE (l941), THE BICYCLE THIEF (l949-Italy), THE SEARCHERS (l956),  VERTIGO (l958),  BREATHLESS (l960-France), PSYCHO (l960) & STAR WARS (l977)

(SINS OF OMISSION:  A STREETCAR NAMED RESIRE (l95l)-(virtually changed the face of film acting),  200l: A SPACE ODYSSEYT (l968)??? & JAWS (l975)- (prior to it's massioe$$$ the industry had no idea about what they & of course *Spielberg tapped into, summertime blockbusters)
