msladysoul
We all should pay tribute to the beautiful lady Anita Page. Anita Page was one of the biggest, beautiful star of her time in the late 1920s, early 1930s. Not only beautiful, a fine actress, she could play anything from sweet, native, innocent to tough, hard-nose dames. She's one of the last great left of early Hollywood. I hear she had a interesting life. TCM should do something on her, don't wait until she die then honor her. She has many great stories about herself and other stars of early Hollywood. TCM should interview her. Anita Page seem to be doing fine, she appears at a lot of places. Has anyone ever sent her fan mail?

busterchaney
Yes, let's honor her grandly, and document her stories while we may still enjoy her presence. Saw her at an Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences screening of Broadway Melody a year ago. She appeared in good spirits but she did not speak to the audience. alix1929
Absolutely! Even though she did not achieve superstardom, she is still worthy of the TCM biography treatment. Let's see some of her silents AND her talkies too. Let's hear stories from her! Someone asked if anyone had ever sent her fan mail. I always wondered about that too. It'd be neat to get a reply--and an autographed picture!
kimbo3200
I agree. I saw her in an interview for a Joan Crawford documentary last Wednesday I believe, and I also saw her in the film Our Blushing Brides also on that day. In the interview, she looked well, considering she must be in her 90s. It would be very interesting to have an interview with her, because I think that she really is one of the only ones left that actually made a silent movie (maybe Fay Wray too, they should also get her), but other than that (and maybe Gloria Stuart) there's no one left. They really should get these ladies before there is no one left at all to tell any fascinating stories!
jackpickford1
This is a wonderful idea for TCM to consider. Anita has a website. www.anitapage.com I think. She has autographs on her site to purchase.
