Who do you have a crush on?

I don't mean as a person or actor...Like you may have a crush on Sophia Loren, or Marilyn Monroe, or Steve McQueen...

I mean what character played by someone in a film do you really flip over?

I have a crush on Janet Leigh's character in "Holiday Affair". I never get tired of that movie.

*Rhett Butler* in Gone with the Wind.

If he's busy I call:

*Link Jones* in Man of the West

And if he's busy I call:

*Tom Doniphon* in The Searchers.

It's kind of tough to reach them, though, because they don't have phones!

:)

Ray---I love Holiday Affair, I recently got the DVD. I agree

it's a movie you never can tire of.

MissG knows I prefer Jose Ferrer's Cyrano. Gerard was great but not as heart wrenching as Jose's portrayal. I'm far from being a romantic but I appreciate the character's intelligence, bravery and swiftness with the sword. He suffered in silence for Roxanne despite having this tough exterior. It's a shame Monsieur de Bergerac fell victim to unrequited love.

This is all coming from a girl that smiles when seeing snipers take down their targets. lol

Do you understand French? I unfortunately don't and at times wish I knew so that I'd appreciate the film better without having to see the subtitles. Apart from Depardieu, I'm a fan of Vincent Perez and Jean Reno. They are such amazing actors but most of their films are in French.

Yes, I'm crazy.

MissG, did you enjoy the first snow flakes of the year?

All four of the Musketeers in *The Man in the Iron Mask* (Gabriel Byrne, John Malkovich, Jeremy Irons and Gerald Depardieu)

Oliver Reed in *The Three Musketeers* and *The Four Musketeers*

Just to prove it's not a Musketeer kind of thing:

Alan Rickman in *Sense and Sensibility*

Gary Oldman in the *Harry Potter* and recent *Batman* movies.

Mark Ruffalo in *Zodiac*

BTW, MissG,

If you're calling Tom Doniphon at the outpost in the *The Searchers*, he isn't there. His cousin, Ethan Edwards, is out on some multi-year quest for Little Debbie and communication is spotty at best.

Tom Doniphon can be reached care of Pete's Place in Shinbone. Just don't call when *Liberty Valance* is ordering dinner. :)

I figured as much. He's a hard one to track down. I get all set to chew him out and then he

brings me a cactus rose and I melt. Ahhh, men.

I remember my first one was on Matt Dillon during my "The Outsiders" attack in 7th grade. It hasn't stopped...As I type I'm watching Rumble Fish ;D

Guy Madison, Warren Beatty - the list goes on.

Most recently it's Anthony Perkins; my friend jokes I have a thing for serial killers.
