flashback42
The comment is at the end of a train of thought in which the speaker opines that Spencer Tracy, Marlon Brando and Richard Burton were, indeed "actors' actors".

flashback42
No way in **** you can fault that as a logical guess, now is there. In fact, a lot of people shared this opinion, and could be named as prospects. No, the speaker was a solid citizen of the Biz, but not the one you named. To maybe help, another quote from the same source: "I felt pretty comfortable with Westerns, apart from the fact that I couldn't ride."

lavenderblue19
Thanks. I guess it bothers me that he said that about Marilyn. She probably **** a lot of actors and directors and crew off with the delays, but the work still got done and she did a fine job with Widmark in *Don't Bother To Knock* . With that said, I really like Widmark alot. next: I'll never feel comfortable taking a strong drink, and I'll never feel easy smoking a cigarette. I just don't think those things are right for me. Who said that? Edited by: lavenderblue19 on Oct 19, 2012 8:09 PM
