Well-known comic, both in stand-up and as an actor.  One of his reoccurring routines involved inventions.  Claimed he invented an eleven-foot pole "for people you wouldn' t touch with a ten-foot pole."

You went straight to it, Sixes.  By the time my generation was mature enough to watch movies and TV with some understanding, the "acting" phase of Mr. Wynn's career was well under way, with performances like the TV version of Requiem for a Heavyweight..  His son Keenan had encouraged this step. 

 

If a second clue had been necessary, I was going to mention his disruptive laugh-and-talk-at-once delivery during standup performance.
