orson4ever
A VERY happy 10th anniversary to all at TCM! THANK YOU for bringing me a whole new, deep, diverse and wonderful world of movies that, growing up, I could've never imagined existing. Here's to many more years of TCM, continuing with the same quality, thoughtfulness and creativity that you have mastered so well.
bansi4
A Happy 10th Anniversary to you TCM! I am enjoying the Private Screenings with Robert Osborne today. Just watched the Mickey Rooney interview and he certainly was a dynamite talent and is a special human being. Looking forward to another 10 years of movie heaven. brackenhe
Here Here!!! 3 Cheers for TCM!!! HIP HIP HOORAY!!!HIP HIP HOORAY!!!HIP HIP HOORAY!!! But it saddens me that so many of the Private Screenings interviewees have since died. Glad Robert Osborne was able to get their thoughts before they died. There are several other people I hope they interview in the future before it's too late. I'd personally would like to see a Private Screening with Van Johnson, if he's able to. If you think about it he worked with some of the greats--Spencer Tracy, Humphrey Bogart, Gene Kelly, Elizabeth Taylor--the list goes on & on. I'd love to hear his stories about working in Hollywood. I just looked him up on IMDB and he's 88 so I don't know if he's up to it or not, but it would be fascinating.
Guest
10 years of TCM! Kewl! Hooray! ...But perhaps this is a somber occasion? Maybe now that they've reached 10 they'll feel that they've done their duty and will now move in a new direction, like AMC? Maybe tonight's airing of Gone With The Wind is meant to symbolize this change? Just kidding...HAPPY 10 YEARS, TCM!!! How 'bout a whole bunch more, huh? bansi4
I believe that Van Johnson would jump at the chance for an interview with Robert Osborne. He appears that he likes to chat about the golden days in Hollywood. Although he is now hard of hearing he speaks loudly his reccolections are priceless. classicsfan1119
I must also wish TCM a Happy Tenth Anniversary! And, as is so often the case for the viewer, we are the ones reaping all the benefits with the airing of "Private Screening" today. I missed most of them when they first aired, so it's wonderful to see them all now! And, of course, your line-up of wonderful Classics is so appreciated! I live for TCM everyday! Thank you! thaellar
Yes...Happy Anniversary to TCM and Robert Osborne! I watched the Ann Miller interview this morning before heading to work....very good! TCM is the first channel I always check when turning on the tube. Only if its something I've seen or not interested in do I consider checking out other channels. It's kind of like my "homepage" on the TV.

beespickles
This is my first post. I LOVE TCM. I watch it almost exclusively, tape it and enjoy Robert Osbourne very much. His facts are interesting and I usually go to imdb.com to read about the stars and learn more.
nickdimeo
I raise my glass of imitation fruit juice in toast to TCM! Here's to another wonderful 10 years of commercial-free unedited classics! I look forward to being shown more silent movies that I have not seen before, along with Universal, FOX, Paramount, and Columbia movies that may be leased in the near future. harlowkeatongirl
Happy Birthday, TCM! One thing I love about that channel is how they take time to profile individual stars, like they did today. If I would've flipped it to TCM one afternoon and saw a movie with Betty Hutton and didn't get hooked by the movie description... I would've probably changed the channel and been like "Eh, I don't even know who she is." But after watching the Private Screenings episode with her in it, I'm wanting to find out more about her. Along with her talent, she was beautiful! And I'm glad they showed a Private Screenings of Matthau and Lemmon, too. That was really good. Those are the only ones I saw. I saw a little of Rod Steiger, too. And of course I've been enjoying Clark Gable (hubba hubba.. lol j/k) tonight on Gone With The Wind.
spencerl964
To Mongo, & Ironically I was thinking that exact same thing, in relation to Van Johnson-(1916-) I've never read/heard a negative thing about the man either-(as far as temper, etc) Not many left too, unfortunately from that era. & I am fairly certain Osborne has as yet to have Kirk Douglas-(1916-) on either. *Olivia de Havilland-(1916-) seems a bit more reclusive & I think she basically stays in Europe now. Another is *Ernest Borgnine-(1917-) As many villians as he's played, he's the nicest guy too. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TCM
