ChipHeartsMovies
Just a couple of hours to go! I'm Brooklyn-bound tonight to join CineMaven's gang for her starring turn. I'll try to convince her to take a photo to post!
countessdelave
If I try to have a different cocktail with every film, I'll be in sorry shape. That being said; I think a French 75 would go well with "Grand Illusion". Although I've not seen "Those Lips, Those Eyes", I might choose a Kamikaze (if I've got the premise correct). filmlover
For Those Lips, Those Eyes, the alcohol of choice will be 3.2 beer, which is mentioned near the beginning of the film.

FredCDobbs
What a great movie! And what a great choice for a guest programmer, since we don?t see this one very often on TCM. This is the best print of this film I?ve seen so far. It is so realistic, I could just crawl right into my TV screen and become lost among the people at the trial or on the streets. I?d love to mingle with the people having coffee and cocktails. James Stephenson is so believable and realistic. Everyone in the film is.

filmlover
Theresa, you did terrific! I bet you are all celebrating where you are! Wow, I am now just one movie away from my turn. I don't know, LOL...I am not sure I am quite ready for this. For me, it seems so unreal when I hear the announcer say my name when reading the upcoming movies. And seeing my Fan Retrospective again...
brackenhe
Cinemaven--you did a great job and had great things to say about *The Letter*. That's why you were picked. I love Miss Davis too, but I'd be all "I like it because Bette Davis is really a good actress. Duh huh." I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of you this week. Lucky Devils. Bronxgirl48
You were terrific. My mother was watching as well. She hadn't seen THE LETTER in ages. She's a huge Bette Davis fan. She loved the movie and also your hair and makeup.
filmlover
Lani, if you are dropping in and checking out the thread, I just want to say you were terrific. Great smile and very articulate. Very well done. "Grand Illusion" is one of my favorite films, too.
