FredCDobbs
Thanks. I found her photo, uncolorized. Sometimes I can use the right keywords and find the image on Google. But I'll withhold the answer to give others a chance.

Kid Dabb
By well known, do you mean of the same era (late 1800's-1950's), but more famous/popular? Or more well known as in more recent (1960's to date)?
newclassicfilmfan
I just meant some well known actors/actresses....could be from the 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, etc....but most of the photos posted are only known to a very few people. I gather I'm not the only one who has never heard or seen most of these folks. At least I hope so. I just thought it would enable more participation if a few of the photos could be of actors/actresses that are more popular and recognizable. Every time I've tried that, some guy comes along who knows all of them and names them within 30 seconds, so the "beginners" never get a chance. But I will try this one. She became a famous beautiful actress in the 1940s:
Kid Dabb
I've been toying with that notion lately myself. Actually, my thoughts were to open a new Thread: *Oh, that face, that fabulous face II* - for , say, post 1950's celebrities. Something like that anyway - just my first thoughts. Any ideas..? Anybody..

newclassicfilmfan
Kidd Dabb - thanks. That is an excellent idea of having a separate thread for post 1950's celebrities. Fred and Kidd - I don't mean to overstep, I realize the thread doesn't belong to me and please proceed anyway you wish. I guess I just wanted to participate, so I had suggested some, shall we say "simpler" photos to identify of people who are more well known. It's just a suggestion...hope you don't mind. slaytonf
Ah, a hermaphrodite! But believe me, this was a woman, and despite some gritty roles, she could be quite the glamour babe.

FredCDobbs
She was only a blonde for a few movies, in the late 30s. Then she became more of a conservative "serious" actress.
