Oh, that face, that fabulous face. Whose is it?

Why don't you post a few photos and find out what I'm talking about?

If they are too easy, the experts get them in 15 seconds. If they are too difficult, the non-experts never get them and the experts get them in several minutes.

That is why this thread has slowed down so much.

When experts name the actors instantly, there is no use in going on.

Post a few photos and see what I mean.

That's what prompted me to use the pic. I imagined people getting tangled up guessing all sorts of French actors. You can imagine how demoralizing it was to have someone toss off the name as easy as the date.

Yes, I admit I've named some instantly before, which I realize can ruin it for those who may not even have seen the pictures yet. So sometimes I wait to give others a chance.

And yes, I knew the Warner Oland picture, and as I said he's one of my faves and is buried in nearby Southborough, Mass. where he and his wife had a house in the 1930's.

Regarding posting some pictures myself, I'd love to! I know you've been very helpful to others many times in describing how, but it never seems to work for me.

For example, I could post pictures of one of my visits to Warner Oland's grave, and of his house...but I don't know how to make it work...

Thanks! That's it!

Last time I was there, a couple of months ago, it was nice to see that someone had left a small Swedish flag by the left side of the stone.

The stone may look in pictures like a big round stone, but it's actually flat, only a few inches thick. It came from the front steps of his nearby house which they called Smoke Tree Farm.

His real name is actually slightly incorrect on the stone. It should be Johan Verner Ohlund (I've also seen it as Johan Werner Olund).
