I go to sleep for one night, and this whole thread falls apart.

 

Are we in the before-50s thread or the after-50s thread?

 

That's someone pretending to be Orson Welles doing the War of the Worlds radio broadcast.

 

"Orson Welles' 'War of the Worlds' broadcast scared Americans 70 years ago this week. Orson Welles in the Daily News color studio in 1938. This is a copy of a rare print on display at the National Portrait Gallery of the Smithsonian Institution."
