slaytonf
So does anyone know this lady? Or do we need a clue? I do.
musicalnovelty
I'll venture a wild guess, just since nobody else has: Rosemary or Lola Lane?

NoraCharles1934
Sorry, I'm accustomed to you guys guessing my picks quickly. Actually, this is quite exciting! A clue? Let's see - she was most prominent during the 20s, but I've caught her in a few supporting roles in the early 30s, playing moms to the likes of Sylvia Sidney and Clara Bow. And she was married Jack Dempsey. Any help?
musicalnovelty
How about Estelle Taylor.
lavenderblue19
That's Estelle Taylor. She was Sylvia's mom in a film I like so much *Street Scene* .

NoraCharles1934
Yes, Estelle Taylor! Congrats to Lavender and Musical (both got it at basically the same time). Lavender mentioned Street Scene (1931). Ms. Taylor was also Clara Bow's mother in Call Her Savage (1932), Lucrezia Borgia to John Barrymore's Don Juan (1926), and John Gilbert's leading lady in Monte Cristo (1922). As to Slaytonf's fella - Dudley Digges?
