allaboutlana
The first person I thought of was Mary Astor. Then I found some resemblance to Norma Shearer and Myrna Loy.
gagman66
allaboutlana, No it is none of those actresses either. This gal was much prettier than Norma Shearer. She was a popular MGM leading lady in both comedies and dramas. However, the movie that was recently released is not a MGM production.

gagman66
Nope, It is not Myrna Loy. Here are a couple more photos of the same gal again. Remember I left out a vital clue that should have made this easy to to figure out? If you look back you can determine the vital clue without much trouble. *Life Of The Party!* *Herr' Beer Maiden*

musicalnovelty
Okay the Day has come to identify Marceline. It's Marceline Day.
gagman66
Holly, Yes indeed it is Marceline Day, who Co-stared with everyone from Lon Chaney to John Barrymore, to Lars Hanson to Buster Keaton. And the vital clue was just like Norma Talmadge had a Sister who was also a Star, so did Marceline Day. That of course would be the lovely Alice Day. *Oh What A Beautiful Morning....,* *Oh, What A Beautiful Day!*
HollywoodGolightly
Well, there you go. I would have never guessed, I really wasn't familiar with the name at all, I'm sorry to admit. But I'll definitely look out for her if she's on any silents coming up on TCM!
gagman66
Holly, You may have seen her before without knowing it? TCM airs two Silents of her's that I can think of. But probably more. *CAPTAIN SALVATION (1927)* Also with Lars Hanson, and Pauline Starke, and Buster Keaton's *THE CAMERAMAN (1928).* The DVD just released last week was John Barrymore's *THE BELOVED ROGUE.* Marceline is just astoundingly beautiful in that movie. And of course she was in the legendary lost Tod Browning feature with Lon Chaney *LONDON AFTER MIDNIGHT* too.
georgiegirl
I forget who this is. lol The woman of course. I wish I could post pics of men, but their looks don't change like women's do. Unless I post pics of men as babies or boys, there's no challenge.
