Oh, that face, that fabulous face. Whose is it?

The picture captioned "close to thine heart" is from a 1928 D.W. Griffith / U.A. movie called "Drums of Love" and the ladies are Mary Philbin and Joyce Coad.

Thanks for posting this. I have a very pretty portrait still of Joyce Coad, and it's nice to see another picture of her.


Does the movie "Drums of Love" exist?

Nope, the girl is not Sally O'Neil. Looks nothing like her either. She was in some movies at MGM though. You probably will not recognize the name when I do say who is in the picture? Worked with King Vidor. Also was in several Columbia, Universal, and Warner Brothers Silents. What about the other two ladies? Any ideas about them?
