FredCDobbs
Internet message board communication can sometimes be confusing. But the worst thing, at my age, is when some clerk in a store or someone on the phone at a doctor's office asks for my name and address, and I say Fred C. Dobbs, and then I quickly say that is the wrong name and I give them my right one. Then they think I'm either crazy or some kind of criminal. dpompper
Must say that I'm astonished at how YOUNG the women in several of these photos appear to be -- like children.

Dargo2
Yeah, Fred?! Well, I THINK we can understand that those people may never have watched "Treasure" and thus wouldn't know "Fred C. Dobbs" from(as Sheldon Leonard's Nick the bartender in another famous movie says...) "Adam's off ox" , BUT like I'VE mentioned before around here, what the heck is the excuse when I tell 'em my first name is "Dwight" and spelled just like THIS GUY'S name was... ...and they haven't got a freakin' clue what I'm talkin' about!!! (...now THAT is TRULY sad, wouldn't ya say?!)

Kid Dabb
Yes. That means no to Cagney. I thought it was James Mason when I first saw this, but it ain't. This is from an earlier era.
newclassicfilmfan
I assume we're guessing who the guy is with his eyes closed and the wrap on his head and not the kid in the background carrying the 2 suppositories. I'm gonna guess this is a very young Buster Keaton.
JamesJazGuitar
Chaplin, is my guess. I'm very proud of getting Bille Burke right, but I have done research on her after I saw The Great Zigfield, where Burke was played by Myrna Loy and I found out she was known for being a beautful young women (I, like many knew her mostly from Oz). So when I saw that picture of that young gal I said to myself, 'hey, if one doesn't focus on the hair and only the face,,, this could be Bille'. newclassicfilmfan
I knew it was either Buster Keaton or Charlie Chaplin..I picked the wrong one.
Kid Dabb
I'm always picking the wrong one of something. If there's a 50/50 chance, I'll get it wrong 80% of the time. Drives me crazy. Picking the one opposite my first choice just makes it worse Try this one
