Kid Dabb
I just heard the theme music for TV's Mission Impossible. It's in my head and it won't go away :0 How about this young lady. She's the sister to a more famous actress recently batted around here in another thread.

FredCDobbs
That was another research project. Accomplished in less than 2 minutes. It was the clue that told me who it might be. With that clue, then I immediately saw that she looked like Loretta Young, so I went to Google and did an image search for Loretta Young and sister, and that turned up several photos, along with her name. Then I did a Google Image search to confirm it, and I found the same photo on the DoctorMacro website.

FredCDobbs
Part of the skill of investigative research is in understanding how to interpret and use "clues". Here is your clue, which is most valuable to a researcher: >She's the sister to a more famous actress recently batted around here in another thread. Well, recently we've been talking about Barbara Stanwyck, Joan Crawford, Linda Darnel, Shirley Temple, a couple of others, and Loretta Young. So which of those people does she look the most alike in your photo?
twinkeee
Yes, BRILLIANT!...I'm sure the FBI would want him instead of me....
twinkeee
I get that, but that's a lot of people to go through and as I mentioned before, her eyes do not look anything like Loretta's.....But, You Are Good!
FredCDobbs
A lot of people to go through?? I do that automatically in less than 3 or 4 seconds. How did you get this one on the other thread, just by looking at the eyes?? They look like thousands of girls eyes to me.
FredCDobbs
>her eyes do not look anything like Loretta's I just sort of averaged out her face, and I saw that above the lips she looked more like Loretta than like any of the other ladies mentioned in thread titles recently. Kid Dabb
Yes. This one.. her eyes are almost asian. I thought that would throw most people off.
twinkeee
Honestly, I do not know at all. And remember Vivien Leigh...the blond hair and no eyes, I have never ever seen Vivien with blond hair and yet, there was just something the second I saw her that I knew it was her. On the other hand, I could not go through a 'ton' of people in 3 or 4 seconds...to me, that is Brilliant!
twinkeee
KD, I didn't exactly think her eyes looked Asian.....you really are too funny, I am laughing tears...
Kid Dabb
You guys are great. Ready for another? Her career spanned 1918-1938, and then nothing.. until 1967 - in her last film she was the proud owner of a chicken farm in the Florida everglades. FredCDobbs
That one wasn't easy. It took me a long time. First I went through a list of 1918 films, but I couldn't find her. Then I started on a list of 1919 films, and there she was.
