I am hoping it was taken when she was very young or just an odd looking pic. As far as the movie w/Lubitsch, I don't know about that. Maybe KD made a mistake as he has been known to do ! But I got the name by doing an advanced search on IMDB showing collaborations between first Misters Grant and Scott, then the lady heading their movie Hot Saturday's collaboration with Mr. Lubitsch (Broken Lullaby). Still looked the same but she acted more mature. She was great in Broken Lullaby (1932) with Phillips Holmes. This was a great anti-war film, a real classic, but not very well known. Finally, earlier tonight, I finally recognized her lips and face, and her curved forehead matched up with other photos of her with her hair parted in the middle.
