MilesArcher
Thanks, and Mudskipper thinks my songs are obscure! Now here's one that is very well known. Alice Faye, Patsy Kelly, and Frances Langford starred in a movie about three friends who form a singing trio. They lose in a radio amateur contest, but they get noticed by a bandleader, who puts them on his radio show. They introduced a song in the movie that has become a well known standard. In fact, the song is better known than the movie. Can you name the song and the movie?
metz44
1935 every nite at 8 take it easy
MilesArcher
Thanks, metz. I will take it easy. Oh, you mean that's the song? No, I thought if there was to be a wrong guess it would be "I Feel A Song Coming On", but the answer I was looking for is a song that has been closely associated with Frances Langford. You may have heard of it. It's called "I'm In The Mood For Love". It's your turn, metz. I'm going to take it easy for a while.
metz44
miles ..yr original query would indicate that "they" introduced a song...not a solo by frances langford anyway..i will pass thread open
