Don't let that stop you. Nobody gets out of here alive :)

The movie is *Kind Hearts and Coronets* (1949), and Alec Guiness plays all of these parts: The Duke, The Banker, The Parson, The General, The Admiral, Young Ascoyne, Young Henry, Lady Agatha.

Oh, and it has a great tagline: "A hilarious study in the gentle art of murder."

Does TCM ever run this movie?

Henry Travers handing a drink to Joseph Cotten for Teresa Wright in Shadow of a Doubt ?

The begining of this always reminds me of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (1939). Both girls dream of another, more appealing (exciting?) life - out there, somewhere. Both get it. 'Charlie' - more than she bargained for, Dorothy - exactly what she needed. So, a reminder to all of us: Be careful what you wish for, you may just get it.

Message was edited by Kid Dabb: too many commas - why is the word comma 100 times bigger than itself?

h4. Ding, ding, ding, ding ding!

One of my favorites, though I thought the writer, Ayn Rand, was a crank!

I can tell Kid now that the glass-passer is Cecil Kellaway.

Can you post an image, Visualfest?
