Kid Dabb
This is not The Sea Hawk, Hollywood - but you are painfully close. They all look the same, don't they? I came in at the middle of Adventures of Don Juan (1948) yesterday and couldn't tell which Errol Flynn movie it was. Same hair. Same little chin beard. Same costume and cutlery. Different Queen - that and Errol's uninspired performance gave it away.

casablancalover
Humm, Portrait of Jennie.. Do you know what gave it away for me? The shape of Cotten's HAT! No fooling; I recall that unusual hat from the movie and my thinking it looks like a hat an artiste(!) would wear.. hence the guess about Ebans.. casablancalover
OK, hint for #1: This movie may have played a looong time ago on TCM, for it is a 20th Century Fox release, and we know those don't get here too often! Kid Dabb
lol! I used to spend my Saturday nights in night clubs, now I'm glueing my fingers to a keyboard. YYYYYYY The woman on the right kind of looks like Maureen O'Hara.
MilesArcher
I believe it's from *Sitting Pretty* (1948), the first of Clifton Webb's "Mr. Belvedere" movies. I believe Maureen O'Hara is on the right and probably Louise Allbritton on the left. She did a lot of supporting roles in the forties. If I'm right, someone else may post a picture. casablancalover
YOU ARE CORRECT, MILES ARCHER. Thank you for playing. Any of you who don't post, but still think of a good movie suggestion, go ahead and send a PM (personal message) to me. I will be happy to try to search down a still from the movie to show.
