harlowkeatongirl
Posted in celebration of a kick-a$$ woman ~~~ Jean Harlow who left Hollywood for Heaven on June 7, 1937. Hollywood became a lesser place, but we still have the great movies and that distinctive voice, style, and personality. http://lynnpdesign.com/classicmovies/harlow/

brackenhe
Yeah--Jean, for me, is right up there with Bette Davis and Myrna Loy as an all time favorite. She was simply great--a girl could be friends with her and a guy would just love her, as a friend or a lover. She was marvelous. Glad you see you post HKG. I was afraid you know who had scared you off.
harlowkeatongirl
I know what you mean, Brackenhe! I love the lady like a sister. A much much older... much richer... very sexy... older sister... that I've never met... She's from money but you'd never know it watching her. One thing I liked reading about her is how she had a "one of the gang" work ethic. She never considered herself to be a huge star or any more important part of the movie than the key grip LOL. And I'll come right out and say when I was in my teens I took to not wearing any underclothes and icing my nipples for a while... Ooh - is that too hot a mention for this board? Sorry, TCM. Jean started it.
