I thought that two of the most underratted westerns were the original 3:10 to Yuma with Glen Ford and Van Heflin and Cowboy with Glen Ford and Jack Lemmon and an excellent supporting cast.

3:10 to Yuma is my favorite Glen Ford role. He was both charming and sinister. I've always considered Van Heflin as one of the best actors ever and he was never better than in this role.

I thought Cowboy one of the more realistic and intelligently written westerns ever. Ford and Lemmon were both in their prime and supported by an excellent cast that included Richard Jaeckel, Brian Donlevy and Dick York.

Both movies were directed by Delmar Daves.

Hi Shunderson :)

I'm a pretty big fan of the original *3:10 to Yuma* and I hope to watch it again soon. Both of the stars were fantastic.

I've not seen *Cowboy* yet, but looking at the cast list, it seems like a Western I would definitely want to see. I'm adding it to my Netflix queue.
