JakeHolman
Ah, Harry Nilsson...maybe a musical genius as some think... Can't say I'm his biggest fan but I do like some of his presentations. JackFavell
I'm not a big Joan Baez fan, but I really like these two Donovan songs by her (and her sister): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqnLYsvRwtM&playnext=1&list=PL54878C66D5341755 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxgpCfaXaAU

I remember Joan Baez from the sixties. Wow, time goes fast. You know, Donovan is not in the R&R Hall of Fame. That's absurd--considering some who have gotten in compared to him. I've read that he was an imitation to Dylan. Not so. Two entirely different kinds of approaches. He's been called sappy and sentimental. Don't agree. Some of his songs are innovative--Mellow Yellow and Season of the Witch just to name a few. John Lennon and the Beatles thought very highly of him. I like him better than Dylan. The Hall of Fame is not an end all. Here's one from Emerson, Lake and Palmer...take care... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gm1OJ0LAgt4 Jake

She was in town not too long ago and I almost went to see her. A great performer--at least she was when I saw her years ago. Here's another lady I saw a long time ago in Denver, Co. JakeHolman
Frank from Ohio...anyone who likes GFR is welcome to post anytime here. I cut my teeth on 70's rock and roll listening to GFR. So-called music critics said they had no talent. The people loved them and so did I. They belong in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Jake
