gagman66 Posted June 19, 2004 Share Posted June 19, 2004 IMDB stands for "Internet Movie Data Base" it is a site where people leave their own reviews of films, movie's, DVD's, video's etc, both new and old that they have seen at anytime in their lives. I have had co-workers argue over who starred in this movie or that TV series and the questions are always solved via the Internet Movie Database. The user's reviews are always interesting, as well. I recommend that everyone here visit this site (you won't believe the work that has gone into it), but plan to have at least an hour of free time first! I saved it to my "Favorites" a few weeks ago, and am still finding new and interesting things to read. For Gwtw...thanks for asking about IMDb! It used to drive me nuts when people would mention it and I didn't have a clue what they were talking about. This database will tell you everthing you could possibly want to know about every movie, old or new, and also about each actor in the movie, along with a whole lot of additional information including trivia about the movie. jhnrndglt Posted June 20, 2004 Share Posted June 20, 2004 And it is always fun to "add" information about a movie to the IMDB database and see it show up under trivia, etc. They are good about checking the facts. I have added some credits for Allison Hayes for her television work, and since I was in EIGHT MEN OUT (as one of the reporters), I now have my OWN IMDB entry!!!
