Ascotrudgeracer
I must nominate Gregory Peck as he appeared in formal clothes entering the casino in "The Great Sinner." This movie is overlooked, almost forgotten, but I love it and can't understand why it isn't appreciated more. Your turn!
johnm001
Gregory Peck is handsome in any film, wearing anything. He would be my wife's Number 1 choice! However, there have only been two men that I would have traded my face for. Neither was a major star, but both were very handsome. John Gavin Guy Madison
HollywoodGolightly
John, You shouldn't even think of trading your face! I saw your new photo at the CFU, you look so handsome, many actors would have been lucky to be as good lookin'.
PrinceSaliano
Sean Connery in any of his 1960s Bond films.
hamradio
That's sort of tough. My top two are Cary Grant and Robert Taylor.

DownGoesFrazier
I'm a straight guy, so speaking objectively by reputation---it was supposed to be Power, Taylor, and Flynn when they were young.

Terrence1
Well, if it's not too late to get my two cents in, I'd vote for John Gavin, Dennis Quaid, Tyrone Power, and Guy Madison. These guys were real gods! Terrence.

I'm a straight guy, too, but I have eyes. Just because I think someone is handsome, doesn't mean I want to have sex with them. Who do you think is most handsome, regardless of reputation? cinemajestic
I completely agree with you. Monty Clift. Runner's up-- Errol Flynn and Tyrone Power
movielover11
There are 3 actors which immediately come to my mind and I'm surprised nobody mentioned them yet. These are my choices for "handsomest actor in Flim History": 1. Marlon Brando 2. William Holden 3. Paul Newman

DownGoesFrazier
Put it this way---if I had the choice to look like anyone, it would be the young Redford or Beatty.

lavenderblue19
As a kid I thought Gardner McKay was gorgeous. My sister and I would watch Adventures In Paradise and swoon over him. My picks would also be- Tyrone Power, Robert Redford, Paul Newman, Burt Lancaster, Robert Taylor, Steve McQueen, of course Cary Grant and Michael Caine. Burt Lancaster is probably my favorite, that kiss on the beach with Deborah Kerr. Steve McQueen and that kiss during the chess scene with Faye Dunaway in the Thomas Crown Affair is a favorite too. Add on a Young Clint Eastwood- a little slice of heaven

DougieB
Fox Movie Channel has been showing "The Pleasure Seekers", with Gardner McKay in his prime.
The Lady Eve
Cary Grant was not only handsome, but elegant and sexy. And for years. Paul Newman was handsome, anti-heroic and sexy. And for years. Tyrone Power in his youth was the most beautiful man I could imagine...his looks changed early, though, and he died young.
