On New App for iPad, can't show movies full screen

I watch movies on my iPad.  With the old iOS app, I could switch the viewing to full screen, which is ideal for older movies shot  in the 4X3 format (because the iPad also is 4X3). On the new app, which I otherwise like a lot, I can't find a way to do this, so the movies show in a little box that is 2/3 or so the area of the full screen.  Am I missing something, or did TCM leave out this very valuable (I might say vital in my case) feature.  

If someone knows how to do this, I'd appreciate a heads up.  If not, I hope TCM will address this issue expeditiously. Thank you!
