TomJH
This news clip of Terry-Thomas in his final years is terribly depressing for those who remember the gap toothed British comedian in his prime years with affection. I had no idea his final years were so sad and grim.
hamradio
Is this the future for Michael J. Fox ? Drugs can only work for so long.

First, Terry-Thomas never made the money that Fox has. Based on different sources, his net worth is somewhere between $65 million and $245 million. It's unlikely that Fox will need charitable assistance. Second, Fox has a stronger family unit supporting him. He's been married to his wife Tracy Pollan for 30 years. They have three children. Third, he's a fighter. He continues to act and raise money for Parkinson's awareness and research.

Micheal is lucky to have just an equally supportive wife and family.

TomJH
For those who remember Muhammad Ali as one of the most graceful and gifted of all athletes, as well as a funny, articulate, passionate larger-than-life personality, those final images of him in his final years as a result of Parkinson's are devastatingly sad. Even Ali could only fight the ravages of that disease so long.
Sepiatone
Plus, in Thomas's time, the strides made in the treatment of the disease weren't yet made. Too bad. Always did like him. Sepiatone
