metsfan
Has anyone here seen this? I was surprised by the wonderful performances of Jean Peters as the merciless sea captain and the deceiving prisoner Louis Jourdan. Herbert Marshall was fantastic as well, lending to a sympathetic character. They really kept me on the edge of my seat as the story unfolded. Great film depiction of pirate battles at sea. HollywoodGolightly
If this is the Tourneur movie that was shown recently on FMC, I recorded it but haven't seen it yet.
Terrence1
"Anne of the Indies" was recently shown on either FMC or AMC. This takes me back to my childhood. I remember so well the first time I saw it. I just loved it. It was good to see Debra Paget and Louis Jourdan together again, after they made "Bird of Paradise." It's a fun movie. Terrence. HollywoodGolightly
I'm pretty sure it was FMC, unless they both showed it - I never record anything from AMC.
