JeanneCrain
Recently PBS has aired some very interesting documentary episodes of "American Masters" depicting Hedy Lamarr, Bob Hope as well as Bing Crosby - all recommended viewing, particularly the Hedy Lamarr episode who was quite an inventor helping to develop a radio guidance system for torpedoes that utilized "frequency hopping" to prevent jamming...what an interesting life she lived. Additionally, episodes of the "American Experience" are also highly recommended PBS viewings. Would like to see TCM air more documentaries, particularly those giving us more insight into our history and those who had an impact upon our lives...it would be nice if TCM would put together a documentary about our beloved Robert Osborne. sewhite2000
They did! It's called Robert Osborne's 20th Anniversary Tribute, made when the network and his time hosting on it reached their 20th anniversary, and it's aired 13 times in the last four years.
