Moorman
Werner Herzog teams up again with Klaus Kinski in this German film with Klinski as Brian Sweeney Fitzgerald, based on the true story of Peruvian rubber baron Carlos Fitzcarrald. In the film Fitzgerald " hires " local Peruvian Indians to pull a ship over a small mountain from one river to another so that he can access a area of rubber trees. In the true story Fitzgarrald had them dismantle the ship and reassemble it on the other side of the mountain. Its another fabulous film by Herzog with a more subdued Klinski in this outing. Herzog is known for on location filming and this one is no different. I rank it a 7 out of 10...
