jekyllhj7
A year or so ago I started watching a film on TCM about a young female doctor just starting out. She was at a hospital in NYC and was given the worst shifts or made to work with the EMTs. Looks like it took place turn of the century - the ambulances were horse drawn. Unfortunately I can't remember who the actors were. I never got to see the end of the film and I'd like to try to find it. Any help on the title would be appreciated. Thenryb
It may be The Girl in White, a 1952 movie starring June Allyson.

I think you're describing THE GIRL IN WHITE (1952) which Thenryb just mentioned. Another one you might enjoy is: STRANGE LADY IN TOWN (1955), which stars Greer Garson and is about a female doctor in the 1880s. The long-running TV show Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman is based on it. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0048665/?ref_=nv_sr_1
