Think of it as "27 dresses on Oscar night". Not only is Ms Lawrence's dress remembered for it's style, but it proved to be a bit too much when she was climbing the stairs to receive her statue..got to be every nominee's worst nightmare... that leaves 4, 10, 16, and 27 (I'm surprised no one has guessed 27..it's considered one of the more iconic gowns) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Indeed..is usually named as the most expensive oscar dress of it's time, the French blue satin alone was 4 grand for the Edith Head design.
