Yes, I've posted these a few times, even in an official poll, but not one single fellow TCM-ITE even bothered to throw in their two cents???   Frankly I was stunned, because since I've been on these the mt summit of movie websites, at least a couple gave their viewpoints?   (VERY DISAPOINTING SPORTS FANS)

Last year I hit (20 for 24 correct) With a batting avg  84%  Possibly my most accurate score in 36yrs doing this, not quite certain as yet?     Anyway, only hrs away now from these ACADEMY AWARD-(TRIVIA: Nickname of Oscar didn't start until 8yrs in in 1935 & debut Oscars on tv was in 1953 honoring 1952 cinema  held on H,. Blvd for a decade (l949-59) at the still standing-(for now) PANTAGES THEATRE, but of course very first ceremonies-(just a dinner) were famously held at the ROOSEVELT HOTEL (est: 1926) in 1929 honoring 1927-28 movies)   Things in the AMPAS like this country have been altered BIG-TIME & Up date over 9,000 voting members that's up almost 4,000 in 5yrs  Unfortunately this marks my 1st yr since 1981/82 where I dind;t even have Premiere magazine/ ew .com/ USA today , tv guide or of vo   To date I was lucky enough to see 5 of the BP contenders

So, please join-in & or just comment this last time???

Certainly wish others had joined-in,  this constantly goes on every single year since I was first on the marvelous tcm forums around 2000  as I said a few times it was neat when Robert 0sborne not only would predict-(on tv) but compiled something he called "THE OSBOs" like "Alternate Oscars"  but his votes had to have been officially nomi9nsted that year, unlike that Danny Peary book-(desperate need of a revision!!!)

For any interested I still have his "OSBO'S" in my files, just 1 page. Then for some reason he stopped them & predicting on tv the winners & sad to say for a guy that wrote the OSCAR BIBLE, he was not very good at the predix game for some reason? he did them 2 to 3yrs is all

THANK YOU
