"You come up with the possibility that ISIS carried out the attack as trigger to turn two enemies — the United States and Iran — against each other. Or you're watching Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates create an incident that they can then use to increase the pressure on Iran." ..... https://www.newsweek.com/intelligence-experts-question-iran-video-us-track-record-ginning-evidence-war-not-good-1444169?utm_medium=Social&utm_campaign=NewsweekTwitter&utm_source=Twitter

Don't forget he was the only president to label the Republican National Guard as a terrorist organization so he could punish any country or company that does business with them. They do a lot of international business as they own much of Iranian resources. As part of cancelling US participation in the nuclear deal, Trump now has the right to penalize any country or company that deals with Iran. Not defending Iran, but Trump hit them three times before they responded.
