Pick ANY actor who was a victim of Typecasting, even if it was temporarily or most of their career. Pick at least 3 movies where this actor played the same kind of role/character over and over again. (It should be noted that some actors took it upon themselves to be type casted, for the sake of playing it safe. Then there are the actors who got tired of playing the same kind character given to them by the studio [especially in the 1930s, 1940s] to please movie goers and fans--leaving the actor unhappy, frustrated and a little resentful)

For Example

EDWARD G. ROBINSON  "The Gangster"

*The Last Gangster as "JOE KROZAC"

*Smart Money (unfortunately, I can't remember the character's name)

One actor who comes to mind is the appropriately named Donald Meek, who played timid little characters in many movies, including Edith Fellows' grandfather in "Pennies from Heaven" (1936).  He was also cast as Mr. Poppins in "You Can't Take It With You" (1938), and Mr Peacock, the whiskey salesman, in "Stagecoach" (1939).
