Live: Mueller testifies before Congress

Recommended Posts

No need to make a thread, it's on every network / new channel except my local Fox 11.  Watching THe People's Court.

Planning to grill something else besides Mueller.

Now that's the best way...NO open flame, charcoal ashed over.

He can't answer that question and has nothing to add. Mueller seems about as sharp as a dull knife.

Stammer, stammer, stammer.

I noticed that. last nite on CNN somebody called him a straight shooter. I quickly lost count of how many times he paused and hesitated and just plain stammered.

this whole thing is a crock of HS.

:D

the sharp one

"I love WikiLeaks." "WikiLeaks is like a treasure trove."
"Boy, I love reading those WikiLeaks." - Donald Trump Mueller's view of Trump's open embrace of a foreign adversary's cyber attack?

"Problematic is an understatement."

Russian intelligence launched a sophisticated social media campaign & email hacking attack to help Trump's campaign.

The Trump campaign knew about this planned attack. But they did not report it to the FBI.

Then they lied about it after the fact.

Many of our GOP colleagues have called Russian interference in the 2016 election a "hoax." But the Mueller Report lays out Russia's sweeping and systematic attack on our democracy. And Mueller's response makes it crystal clear:

"Absolutely. It was not a hoax."

Mueller was asked, “Did you actually totally exonerate the president?"

He responded simply, “No,” and said, “The president was not exculpated.”

When asked if it was true Trump could be charged when he leaves office,

Mueller responded simply, “True.” That’s pretty clear cut.

seriously, I was surprised at how foggy and incoherent mueller was. the democrats just lead him around by the nose and got him to say yes to their bull....

and today's pathetic performance by mueller is supposed to sway voters???

at least we have a pretty good idea now why his investigation took so long.

Rep. Jerry Nadler: "Dir. Mueller, the President has repeatedly claimed that your report found that there was no obstruction,

& that it completely & totally exonerated him. But that is not what your report said, is it?"

Robert Mueller: "Correct, that is not what the report said."

Breaking with journalistic consensus — I agree. No bombshells but telling those who aren’t political junkies

that Trump did break the law by obstructing justice, and he is untruthful.

Trump’s over the top claim it was a good day means the opposite is the truth.

A bad day for DJT.

2 points...

trump is not a bleeping lawyer and they the democrats keep harping about the report and the way trump has described the results and yet trump has not been indicted and charged with anything.

so why do they wait? why do they hesitate?

isn't Mueller's backing good enough for them?

weeks ago Nancy Pelosi said she would not proceed forward on impeachment without overwhelming house support and this fathead Nadler is supposed to get it for her?

:D

Here Are the Biggest Moments of Mueller’s Testimony

"....... President Trump has claimed “complete and total exoneration” by Mueller, despite the Mueller report’s voluminous evidence on potential obstruction of justice.

Mueller didn’t reach a traditional prosecutorial judgement about Trump due to Department of Justice policy that a sitting president can’t be indicted. Mueller reasoned that it wouldn’t be fair to accuse Trump of a crime.

But that’s not the same thing as saying Trump is innocent — and Mueller just spelled that out on national television.

Trump could be prosecuted after he steps down

Mueller confirmed that Trump would lose his shield of presidential immunity from prosecution after he steps down from office.

“Under Department of Justice policy, the president could be prosecuted for obstruction of justice crimes after he leaves office, correct?,” Nadler asked

Mueller replied: “True.”
